FEEDING GUIDELINES

Feeding instructions: Account for the calories coming from treats. Feeding amounts are intended as guidelines only. Serve at room temperature, surplus food can be chilled for up to 2 days.
DIET TRANSITION
To change your dog’s food, we recommend a gradual transition to help avoid stomach upsets. Generally, this takes around 7 days, but it is always a good idea to monitor your dog to check that the transition is going well.

SUSTAINABILITY
Our PEDIGREE® Pouch packs are currently made from a combination of materials, including plastic and aluminium. This means they cannot be sorted into a single-material recycling system.That’s why we’re working to move away from multi-material packaging across our PEDIGREE® Pouch portfolio and towards mono-material packs, which can be more easily sorted and recycled through different recycling methods.It might sound simple to redesign a pack using just one material, but there’s a lot to consider. Each layer of the packaging has a specific job, from assuring shelf-life to providing tear resistance and enabling printing on the pack.Our target is to transition all PEDIGREE® Pouch packs sold in EU markets to mono-material packaging by January 2028.
Planned implementation steps to launch Pedigree Pouch Mono material pouch:
Step 1: Supplier alignment & material selection. July - August 2026 Selection of supplier to produce Mono material pouch
Step 2: Factory trials & validation. August 2026 - March 2027 -Product line trials comparing Aluminium and mono material pouch-Shelf life impact assessment-Quality & safety sign off
Step 3: confirmation & commercialization preparation. June - August 2027 Confirmation of feasibility based on shelf life results, product performance & other validations required
Step 4: commercial production & transition roll out: November 2027 - January 2028-First production targeted date: November 2027
